Elevator pitch: So, you go to rescue a princess from a monster, and find out the monster is the princess. What do? Taura is a giant softie who would be a magical girl if she could but is instead an eight foot tall animal-spliced super-soldier. Dat's life.
Plans & plot hooks: Oh gosh, well, to start with she'll be intensely bodyguarding cryo-amnesiac, fragile Miles, so if he's getting into trouble she probably isn't far behind. (And he's definitely getting into trouble.) Taura will generally help people who need it and she is going to need help herself, pretty quickly. Her metabolism is ridiculous-- ideally she eats, like, a full meal every 4-5 hours, more if she's been exerting or hungry lately. So she's going to be quietly starving despite her castmates trying to shuffle her rations until we get that ICly figured out. That's the immediate plan.
CR you're looking for: EVERYTHING oh my god. Taura loves confident women who can teach her to be more feminine without embarrassing herself, she would be good with other soldier or mercenary types, she will probably develop awkward crushes on anyone her age who is slightly nice to her, AND she is also, you know, a fairly animalistic beast of a lady so I am always down for violence. Elevator pitch: Vestara grew up on a planet full of backstabbing Sith, and all she wanted to do was master the dark side and conquer the galaxy. But then sixty-year-old Luke Skywalker punched her in the face, dragged her along with him and his dork son on a pan-galactic roadtrip to kill space Cthulhu, and more-or-less got her exiled from her home planet. Now she's a corporate "troubleshooter" for evil corporations, where "troubleshooter" means assassin, enforcer, and industrial saboteur.
Plans & plot hooks: Anything! Vestara's a scrappy fighter, so I look forward to her going on exploring missions and getting into fights and stuff. She's pretty proactive, because her default survival tactic is to be so useful to all strong factions around her that no faction can afford to get rid of her. Also, she's almost completely amoral, so bring on the backstabbing and intrigue.

CR you're looking for: All, but frenemies most of all ♥ I really like CR with friction.

At the beginning of the game, Ves herself won't be someone who initiates much friction. That's because she won't show much real nastiness until she has a stronger grasp on the situation and therefore feels secure in her ability to be a little shit without potentially deadly consequences. So, for a while she's going to keep her conversational claws mostly sheathed, and mostly keep things superficial and casually bantering. She's not going to admit to mass murder right off the bat or anything.

Elevator pitch: Tech-savvy middle manager from a corporate space dystopia, who got some cyborg enhancements just to get an edge towards promotion. He acknowledges that this probably means he's a bad guy, but he could definitely be worse. (He could be Jack.) He went through some adventures on the planet Pandora, the gun-slinging wild west of space, and came out of it with a TINY bit of trauma, but also some money and power, so! That worked out in the end.
Plans & plot hooks: Rhys happens to now be CEO and sole employee of the newly revived Atlas corporation in the Borderlands universe, and he's simultaneously a little annoyed at the trademark infringement going on here, and a little worried people are going to think they should be finding him. Whoops. He also just recently got randomly teleported somewhere by an alien Vault that teleports around the universe, so, he's pretty sure it's aliens. He's definitely looking to pick up some friends/allies, IDEALLY ones that aren't potentially psychopaths, but he can't be too picky.

(Approximate) Age: 21-22. I lean toward the latter because it was how old her actress was while filming S3, but time moves like a snail on The 100 so I err on the variable side.
Elevator pitch: Usually people watch The 100 because Lexa hooks up with the female protagonist, but that aside: Lexa is a child soldier/warrior turned commander who is the epitome of moral ambiguity and ruthlessness while having many a scene where she chokes back tears after she's told she has more feelings than she lets on. She's the leader of her people and mostly confident in that role, only she's, uh, no longer in that role.
Plans & plot hooks: Lexa's biggest plot hooks and opportunities for CR are the following: she's a leader and will boss people around without really thinking about it, she has survival skills and training that will apply well no matter where they end up, and she can help train people to fight. My plans largely revolve around seeing how she views her second chance at life, though a lot of that will depend on in-game circumstances. That's largely the angle I'm working at from the start.
CR you're looking for: Lexa is good for negative CR and frenemies. It takes a lot for Lexa to outright hate someone, and her feeling that way toward another usually means that she wants them dead. However, she is prickly, ruthless, and has a broken moral compass ... so she's bound to piss someone off sooner rather than later. I'm open to anything, though!

His favorite hobbies include reading and inviting random women up into his crib for coffee, except he's all out of coffee.
Plans & plot hooks: Luke has been trying very hard to keep a low profile and since he's not from his own series yet, he hasn't gone public with his powers. Being trapped in a setting like this kind of makes that sort of thing inevitable. So he's gonna have to live up to his full potential and you know, figure out alien shit. Maybe he'll give an inspiring speech at some point.

Since it's a foreign place, he'll want to build up a core set of allies that he can rely on while exploring and documenting as much as he can for his personal reference, though he's open to sharing the intel he gathers with people he deems trustworthy. His only main goal is doing as much Good overall as he can while also maintaining his own survival. He'll be mildly trying to find some way to deal with his arm situation, but HAHAHA asking Tony is Not Happening, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but he'll be okay without it for the most part, honestly.

Jack is in the middle of one really, really bad weekend. Currently he's still kinda right in the head so his ultimate goal is protecting people, so come to him if you need THE HERO to do SOME HEROING.
Plans & plot hooks: Rhys was a total pal and told him vaguely about going insane and also that he dies, so that was awesome, thanks Rhys. The Borderlands universe is chock full of Really Weird Stuff so Jack can comfortably handwave it as an alternate universe or something, but it's still got him a little on edge, so Jack will be throwing himself into weird, probably dangerous survival efforts with other people who are also fine with going into weird, probably dangerous survival efforts. He really, really wants off Kharas, okay.
CR you're looking for: Anything! At this point Jack is just kind of generally annoying at worst, so he'll shut down anything that's getting hostile, but boy will he remember it. This is actually a great point to establish CR with him because he's not Handsome Jack quite yet - characters who wouldn't interact with Handsome Jack can get in on the Jack action and then have to deal with strangling people for getting my coffee a little too hot Jack later on when his mental state starts to decline. There's zero way to predict how CR would turn out, but people he likes might end up beaten, brainwashed, or imprisoned because he knows what's good for them. People he hates can pretty much end up in whatever horrible way you want them to. In the meantime, regular Jack wants to make friends! Come hero with him or talk tech or whatever, he's desperately bored and not actually too horrible a pal.
