As someone who also suffers from caring and feeling too much, frequent recklessness and vindictiveness, ego trips, and who also dislikes how sand gets everywhere - I think Clara and Anakin have the makings to be really great friends. Or at least they can explore and bitch about things together

he can bitch for a long time, clara's going to have to wait her turn. or just bitch about him so he'll shut up and make u feel bad abt it. or bitch louder. but yeah, i'm game for exploring! he doesn't try to group up with civilians bc he'll just feel responsible for them so clara can shove in and tell him off about that - his weakness is basic common sense :>
