Done! As an aside, I also lived in Japan as an ALT for two years--in Fukuoka prefecture! That was a while back though, and I'm definitely not fluent. Hi-five from the ex-expats club.

I'd already studied the language for about four years prior to going on exchange there the first time in high school for 6 months, then I went on exchange again in university two years later for 12 months, and then I spent another 6 months a year after that working over there as a seasonal hospitality worker in Hokkaido so lol yes I'VE. I'VE DONE MY TIME. i'm back in australia now tho! home sweet home.
