Exosuit Upgrades



EXOSUIT UPGRADES


At certain points throughout the game we will be offering players the opportunity to upgrade their characters' suits. This may be a functionality upgrade (20% isn't much after all), a tech upgrade, or something as simple as an alien language. When this happens we will put up an OOC post to alert all players to its availability. These entries will be tagged with "!upgrades" in both the IC, OOC and archives comms so that they are easy to find.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
When an upgrade is available, a notice will go up in the OOC comm with information about the event and how the upgrade can be acquired ICly.

Once the IC post for the event goes up, you need to make an activity requirement to get the upgrade. This is (1) thread with (10) comments from your character. These tags do not have to interact with the upgrade to qualify. As soon as you have your activity requirement, comment to this entry with the form below and once you receive approval, your character has the upgrade!

Please remember that upgrades cannot be used ICly until they have been approved here. You cannot assume your character has been given an upgrade if you have yet to submit an application and have it approved. Players seen using upgrades without approval will be given an immediate strike for infomodding.

To recap:
  • You must have tagged into the IC post the upgrade is offered in with the character you wish to receive the upgrade
    OR
    Meet the specified tag requirements listed in the upgrade
  • You must tag into the applicable post/meet the conditions listed before the game chapter the upgrade offered in is complete
  • You must comment to this entry with (1) thread from the applicable IC post that has at least (10) comments from your character

    Upgrades are only available during the game chapter in which they are introduced.

    This means that if upgrade A is offered in chapter 1 of the game, you can only claim it during that chapter. Once we reach chapter 2 all upgrades released in chapter 1 are no longer available. Since each chapter will be roughly 4-6 months long, we feel this is ample time to tag into these logs.

    If you would like to claim an upgrade for your character please fill out the following form with "CHARACTER NAME | CANON" in the subject line under the upgrade you wish to claim.
