hey, I'm Alison, who is bringing Lexa in who is really into random melodramatic displays.

That's not all she does, but she is definitely a person who functions on the lowest degree of chill possible. She comes from The 100, which means she comes from CW's version of a post-apocalyptic world where a bunch of teenagers were sent down to deal with what starts off as Lords of the Flies and eventually turns into Game of Thrones. Lexa is the leader of the people on the ground who have somehow managed to survive despite the radiation, and her culture is one that is ruthless, harsh, unforgiving, and so forth. She's abandoned some of the harsher ways, but it's something that she grew up with, so it's pretty easy to say that she's not completely over it. Lexa is a domineering person who was (as far as she knows and believes) born to lead her people, which basically means she has a hard time not being in charge.
