There is one undamaged terminal Lance can use the data cylinder on, but it is unpowered and when any attempts to interface with it via the suit are made the lights in the room turn and room goes into lockdown.

...Or as lockdown as it can get without power. So basically everything just goes red in warning. The pearls will temporarily light up the panel though, before their power is absorbed through the tech & to the ship's core.
