Cherry

Hi there, this is Cherry!

First off I'd like to offer an apology for the way the above comment comes off. We realized in retrospect that when reading it it didn't come off the way we'd intended and was instead a bit unkind. That was not our intent and we did not mean to squash any IC initiative to engage in the setting. We were concerned that players OOCly cracking an alien language would lead to info-modding and render Clark's IC reward obsolete, but looking back now we should have expected players to crack it very quickly! In focusing too much on that, we failed to properly allow our players to thrive.

This one is on me as Head Mod, and I apologize.

To make up for this we would like to offer Commander Shepard & anyone involved in the code-cracking of the alien language used in the transmission exclusive access to an ICly & OOCly crackable, coded message which will provide them with important in-game content that can be kept or shared as you all would like!

The Atlas is a game where we'd like to have players feel comfortable plotting in OOC comms and throwing ideas around, and we want to reward players who are active and take initiative as you have done. So if there's any way for us to better facilitate this, please let us know!

Sincerely,
Cherry
Head Mod
