The sinkholes seem to follow a single path, but where that path goes and for how long is unknown. Sinkholes appear in a 300m radius in varying locations.

For now, there is not enough information to determine what (if anything) is moving below ground; only that the vibrations and tremors are what's likely causing the sand to suddenly give way.
