Congratulations! Upon digging up and cracking open the Coral, Jessica & Bruce will discover that unlike the hard, coral-like outer shell the inside tissue of this plant is fleshy and fibrous. It does not cause itching when placed directly on skin.

The shell is not flammable. The insides are not very flammable when freshly opened (think wet wood).

There is dirt beneath several inches of sand which retains only the barest traces of moisture.
