1. AC submission starts on the first of each month! We were a little slow on opening it due to some confusion on how it worked, but! AC for November is now open and can be submitted any time.
2 & 3. For comments (not threads) to be applicable they must be made during the month AC is counted for (so only comments made after Dec 1st count for Dec AC).
As for when the thread starts...we'll say that so long as the thread started in the previous AC period and carries over into the current, you can use the thread for AC.
i.e. A thread started in Nov and its comments carried over into Dec. So long as you link the comments made in Dec, it will count! But a thread dating back to October can't be used because it's more than 1 AC period behind, even though some of the comments in it are from Dec.
