OOC Updates & Swarm Conclusion

CONGRATULATIONS! The Swarm Event is now officially complete, which means we've made it through our first timed event of the game! A lot happened during this event so we're going to try and summarize it as best we can, starting with: Those Who Stayed Behind As a result of the Trilobite Queen being attacked, all the trilobites in the area swarmed. Characters managed to defend themselves and the following changes to The Boneyard are now in effect:
1.	Hundreds of Trilobite corpses are now scattered through the Boneyard and can be cooked & eaten. Ya'll have food for days.
2.	All, if not most of the surviving Trilobites have scattered and fled the area, continuing their migration. Aimlessly. Since their Queen is dead.
3.	All "Coral" between the Boneyard and the Trilobite Nest has been destroyed by the Trilobites.
In addition to the surplus of meat now available, characters also happened to pick up a strange transmission during the event. The messages in order of appearance can be found here, and have been added to our Flora, Fauna & Resources page for Discovery. These messages have been downloaded to the suits of the characters who received them and can be replayed at any time. Characters will discover that if they interface with one another's suits these messages can be shared so that everyone has access. Of special note here is that Clark Kent (anewhope) rolled a critical success on his transmission! As a result he has gained a suit adaption to the alien language. This adaptation cannot be transferred and Clark is the only one to hear small portions of the messages with comprehension. Congratulations Clark! Those Who Went Ahead As a result of choosing to attack the Trilobite Queen, she died slowly and painfully from critical wounds and the following changes are now in effect:
1.	Thanks to the hostilities against their Queen, all Trilobites on Kharas are now hostile to characters and cannot be tamed, controlled, or coaxed. They are now skittish around characters and will run on sight. They will not attack unless forced to defend themselves. Trilobites Darcy and Bingley survived the onslaught and now continue on their grand journey to...wherever, really.
2.	The Queen's body is now a ready source of food when cooked! And oddly enough, no matter how long she stays out in the heat and sun, she won't start to rot or become spoiled. Odd! The Trilobite Queen's corpse has been added to the FFR page for Discovery.
3.	A New Resource has been found inside the Trilobite Queen's gooey innards. It has been added to the FFR page for Discovery.
4.	A strange metal hull was discovered in a sinkhole caused by the Trilobites. Characters can now approach it, but cannot enter it until our Setting Post goes up later today.
Regardless of whether they chose to stay behind or go follow the tracks, all characters have access to these rewards immediately (save for the messages which must be passed along). Of special note here is that Lexa (adamance) and Cayde (exorion) were bitten by the Trilobite Queen. As a result they will suffer vertigo and numbness for (1) IC Day. Unlucky! AND NOW, THE REST OF OUR OOC ANNOUNCEMENTS: Activity Check: A reminder that our Activity Check has been extended to Oct 31st at 23:59 EST due to some confusion over how our system worked. Characters only need to check-in for this month to pass (but will need full AC next month). For clarification: Atlas AC is open to submissions all month long starting on the 1st, and closes on the 28th of each month while we process all submissions. This means you can submit your AC at any time before the 28th each month. The Activity Check page has been updated to reflect this. Reserves: Now that our first month has passed we are officially switching to an Open Reserves system. This means that Reserves will be open all month long, and will be closed during our Application Period (instead of overlapping with it). Our Reserves page has been updated to reflect this. Discoveries: Tier 2 Discoveries are now open! This means that characters can now choose to perform a more in-depth Discovery on any location previously visited for additional info, items of note, or resources in that area.
